A chain strap sits high and reads as a going-out bag; it also carries weight badly, so it suits a small bag only. Webbing and PU straps carry more and adjust further. Backpacks and waist bags are the practical end of the range and are the only styles drafted to hold a full day's contents.

Care
PU wipes clean with a damp cloth and must never go in a machine. Store bags stuffed rather than flat so the shape holds, and keep chain straps inside the bag when not in use to stop them marking the surface.
