Bottoms: cuts, fabrics and sizing
Choosing a cut
Skinny cuts are the default under long coats, because the coat carries the volume. Wide-leg and cargo styles work the other way, pairing with a fitted top. Leggings sit under skirts and shorts as a layering piece rather than on their own, which is how most of the mesh and sheer styles are drafted.
| Cut | Volume | Pairs with | Fabric |
|---|---|---|---|
| Skinny | Low | Long coat, boots | Stretch twill, PU |
| Straight | Medium | Vest, harness | Black denim |
| Wide leg | High | Cropped top | Cotton twill |
| Legging | None | Skirt, shorts | Stretch mesh, jersey |
Sizing
Asian sizing runs roughly one size below EU and US, and the gap is widest at the waist. Measure your waist and hip in centimetres and read the table on the product page. Stretch fabrics forgive a size; rigid denim and PU do not.
