Kilt or skirt: what actually changes
The closure. A kilt wraps rather than pulls on, overlapping at the front into an apron and fastening with straps and buckles at the side. That makes it far more adjustable than a sewn skirt, and it is why kilts are the usual entry point for men buying a skirt: the fit forgives, and the strapping reads as hardware rather than as a dress.

Sizing and fit
Wrap closures give several centimetres of adjustment, so kilts are the most forgiving item in the range. Measure your natural waist and read the centimetre table on the product page. If you are between sizes, the wrap will absorb the difference.
