Choosing a bottom by length and layer
Length decides the layer
Almost everything in this range is drafted to be layered over tights rather than worn bare-legged, which is why the shorter cuts dominate. Minis and shorts pair with opaque tights or fishnets, midis with tall boots, and long skirts stand alone. Leggings sit underneath the rest rather than replacing them.
| Piece | Length | Layer with | Reads as |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shorts | Upper thigh | Tights, fishnets | Punk, festival |
| Mini skirt | Upper thigh | Tights | Punk, classic |
| Midi skirt | Knee to calf | Tall boots | Gothic |
| Trousers | Full | Boots, long coat | Either |
Sizing
Sized on the waist, not the hip. Asian sizing runs roughly one size below EU and US. Lace-back and wrap closures give a few centimetres of adjustment; fitted zip styles give none.

- Yes, around one size below EU and US. Order from the centimetre waist measurement.
- What is the difference between Bottoms and Pants?
- Bottoms is everything below the waist including skirts. Pants is trousers only.
