Dracula starring Bela Lugosi aka “the grandfather of goth” is said to be the greatest vampire movie ever made and established the character to the American public and the world. English solicitor Renfield travels to Transylvania to his mysterious client Count Dracula who has bought a house in London. It turns out he is a vampire with a serious bloodlust…. Visually stunning, this movie successfully mixes romance and horror. After all, it’s a classic for a reason !
The Cult-Favorite Comedy :
“I, myself, am strange and unusual”. Beetlejuice is an iconic goth film : this dark comedy mixes fun and horror elements. Add the unique ( and lovable ! ) characters and you’ll get yourself a cult classic. Beetlejuice is a movie about two families, one ghost family and one human family, living in the same spooky house. The Twisted Romance :
“Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it” sums up this movie pretty well. Edward Scissorhands is a gothic love story between a human and a... Well, we're not quite sure what Edward is. Twisted and bizarre, it's a macabre fairy tale of acceptance and true love. Filled with whimsical costumes and sets, as well as myriad comic and romantic layers, this movie will leave you with all the feels !
The Adrenaline Rush :
The plot of Underworld revolves around Selene, a Vampire who has devoted herself to the extinction of the Lycan species. She finds herself attracted to a human who is being targeted by the Lycans. After Michael is bitten by a Lycan, Selene must decide whether to do her duty and kill him, or go against her clan and save him.
Visually gorgeous and action packed, this movie is sure to thrill and inspire.
